Let's Grow Together
🌱 Start Planting Now: Winter Sowing
Don't let the library renovations or the cold weather stall your garden! Following our successful workshop with the Burlington County Library System on January 24th, we’re encouraging everyone to try Winter Sowing.
You can start your spring garden right now using simple recycled milk jugs. It’s the perfect way to get a head start while you wait for our new binders to arrive.
The Magic of "Cold Stratification"
Most New Jersey native seeds aren’t ready to sprout the moment they hit the ground. They possess a natural "biological clock" that requires cold stratification—a specific period of cold, moist conditions—to break their dormancy.By sowing in November thru February, you are perfectly mimicking nature's cycle.

🏗️ Under Construction: We’re Growing!
The Marlton Seed Exchange binders are currently offline as we transition and grow alongside the Evesham Library upgrades. While our physical collection is tucked away for the moment, we are busy "fertilizing" our resources behind the scenes.
🌿 What’s Sprouting Next?
When we return, you can look forward to a significantly expanded binder section. We are especially excited to debut our brand-new Herb Binder, which will feature curated Herb Garden Kits designed to:
Support Local Pollinators: Specialized kits to help butterflies thrive in your backyard.
Brew Your Own: Selections perfect for creating homegrown herbal teas.
Elevate Your Kitchen: Fragrant varieties to help your culinary skills flourish.
