Sharing Seeds

Later this fall, we'll be adding a new binder with seeds from native plants for direct sowing in the ground. To help you get the most out of these seeds, the Southwest Chapter of Native Plant Society of New Jersey (SWC-NPSNJ) will be hosting a "How to Save Native Plant Seeds" workshop this October . To find out more and join NPS for webinars and workshops at npsnj.org

We're so excited to announce that the Evesham Library Free Seed Exchange is now up and running! We have a new selection of annual seeds available for you to pick up at the library's reference desk.

Did you know that you can also sow some annual seeds outdoors in the fall for beautiful blooms next spring? We have Calendula and Cosmos seeds that can be lightly covered with soil and left outside to sprout when the weather is just right. You can also try Gaillardia (Blanket Flower), a beautiful perennial that is excellent for fall sowing, and Cleome (Spider Flower), a strong self-seeder.
